This Thursday

This Thursday (September 9th) as part of the Junction Art Festival, come out for the Grand Opening of the Chuck Akudu Gallery where I'll have a few pieces on display!

Also, I am working on some art at this very moment so I promise that there will very soon be new posts!! Sorry for the lack of those as of late!

I Live Here Now

Here is my piece for the "It's Meant to Bee" show that is currently on at DatSalon until the end of the month. A bit different for me, but that was the goal of the show!

It's Meant to Bee

Tomorrow night (June 8th) is the opening of a pretty rad show I am a part of called "It's Meant to Bee." It's happening at Dat Salon, and will be up for a month (but you should all come out for the opening, cheap drinks and good company!) The show features 13 artists, and each of us had to create a piece using only black and yellow. It was a challenge but it was a lot of fun, I can't wait to see what all the other artists did!

Here is the flyer for the show (designed by yours truly)

Have a Heart Magic!!

Hey lovelies,
Remember the Have a Heart show I took part in at Dat Salon in June? WELL, check out this video documenting the night, some great work and people, woo!

Click to view video on youtube!

inLimbo

Check out this album art I did for my friends' band inLimbo! They make music and it is pretty rad. Their CD release is on June 17th at Mansion House in St Catharines, so perhaps if you find yourself in the Niagara Region you should check em out.

You can also check out their music here: http://iaminlimbo.com

There is now words all over these images!

Have a Heart

Here are a couple photos from the opening of Have a Heart! They were taken by Dexter Ico. A huge thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting SickKids!!

Also, here is another video, this time with the whole mural. The video is by Josh Glover. Look at me go!

Have a Heart Teaser

First half of my mural at Dat Salon for the Sick Kids benefit show, Have a Heart. It's happening on June 5th, come out!

have a heart

Have a heART is an upcoming art show in support of SickKids Foundation. There are 13 artists involved and we're all donating a piece, with all proceeds going to SickKids. I'm also planning on doing a wall piece at the show so you should all come out and see it! It's at Dat Salon at 442-E Dufferin St (just north of Queen) on June 5th. It'll be a good party, for a good cause!

I also designed the above flyer for the show. You can check out the event on facebook here.
